Brian Croft M.S.

Brian has been an administrator, academic, and practitioner in the field of outdoor adventure and experiential education for the past 15 years. Brian currently serves as the Assistant Director of Outdoor Education and Recreation at SIUC’s Touch of Nature Environmental Center. Brian is also a faculty member of the Recreation Professions department in the School of Human Sciences at Southern Illinois University teaching courses in adventure therapy, experiential education, and technical outdoor skills. He is a former board member for the Association of Experiential Education and has certifications in Challenge Course Programming, Wilderness Medicine, Leave No Trace, Rock Climbing, and Paddling. Brian’s passion is using the outdoors as a classroom to teach the things that matter most.
