About the event
Join us as we host a Behavioral First Responder Level 1 in partnership with the Association for Outdoor Recreation Education Conference. You do not need to be a conference attendee to participate in this course. We will spend the day learning hands-on skills for promoting and managing mental and behavioral health concerns in outdoor settings. Specifically, you can expect to learn:
- Preventative best practices
- Deescalation techniques
- Conflict Resolution
