WORK WITH ALPENGLOW

Who We're Looking For
Thanks for your interest in becoming an Alpenglow Instructor! This initiative is designed to expand our capacity to deliver more Behavioral First Responder (BFR) courses in more places while reducing barriers for individuals seeking this essential training. We appreciate your interest in joining us in this mission!
We’re seeking passionate educators with a blend of experiential education backgrounds and training in mental and behavioral health. Rather than requiring specific degrees or a set number of years of experience, we take an individualized approach to the application process. If you believe you’d be a great fit for delivering BFR courses, we encourage you to apply!

Overview
To maintain a high standard of education and ensure the continued growth of our curriculum, we ask that instructors commit to a few key responsibilities. Instructors are expected to teach at least one BFR course per year in their region, ensuring widespread access to this essential training. Additionally, all instructors must attend an annual instructor meeting, which lasts approximately two hours and can be attended virtually or in person. To uphold the quality of course delivery, new instructors must shadow an existing BFR course before leading their own. Applicants are responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, and food expenses for this shadowing experience.
